Jack attended Whitman College, graduating in 1968 with a degree in Political Science. He attended Georgetown University before enlisting in the United States Army, After attending OCS and serving for six years, Jack left the service as a Captain.

He graduated from Gonzaga University Law School after 2 1/2 years and practiced law in Spokane for fourteen years. During that time he obtained Securities Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses. He was the Branch Manager of a national securities firm in Spokane and sold securities for several years. He also began offering mortgage products. He wrote his first mortgage application in 1991.

In 1997 Jack passed the Mortgage Broker license exam and became a broker for a national mortgage company. In 2001, Jack and his wife, Tana, opened Quick Mortgage Services, LLC. In 2006 Quick closed more than $100,000,000 in loans, mostly in the Spokane area. In 2009 Quick Mortgage became a branch of First Priority Financial.

Jack is a past president of the Eastern Washington Chapter of the Washington Association of Mortgage Brokers and a former member of the state Board of Directors.

Jack specializes in reverse mortgages and gives frequent seminars to senior citizens in the Spokane area.

Quick Mortgage Services is a member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association and the Better Business Bureau.
